The Duke Nukem Thread

I still play on Duke 3D from time to time, nostalgia i guess.
Ive pretty much had every nukem thats come out over the years,
I loved playing Nukem 3D link up with 2 p.s 1ones.

But i would love one to come out for the Xbox360, just think of the possibilities.

Its time to kick ass "n" chew bubble gum, & am all out of gum!!

I thought Duke Nukem lifes a beach was pretty darn good too

Yeah, the Dukester was pretty awesome, I played him back in his original shareware game where he claimed to "Beat Nintendo easily" and would finish up with his enemies "In time to watch Oprah"

Then his much better sequel when he was kidnapped into space which had some rockin' beats in the boss levels.

Then Duke Nukem 3D in which he stole 90% of his lines from Ash in a game involving the rescue of strippers.

Then things got muddled with the Playstation "Time to Kill" the N64 "Zero Hour" a handheld game, a pinball game (Entitled "Balls of Steel") ("I don't have time to play with myself" Duke announces) and various other merchandise including a soundtrack and toys! Then the lackluster "Planet of the Babes" and finally a return to side scrolling in umm.. think it was called the manhatten project? Never played it. There was even talk of a movie starring the Rock. (Guess they went with "Doom" instead)

Anyway, yeah Duke has some history. Some of which I might have missed, but oh well, and yeah, the guy who looks like "Arh - nald" (especially from last action hero which actually came out after Duke) and talks like Ash (from Evil Dead if anyone isn't a movie buff)

Whoo, my fingers are getting sore, long story short, Duke needs a new, updated start in the same vein as Tomb Raider Legend. Only better, 'cause I personally thought that game sucked.

Yeah Time ta kill & zero hour were a big let down.

Ive played on duke nukem (2) the platformer one, the one before Duke 3d

they really should redeem duke by doing a xbox360 one

But what would you like it to be like ?

Duke Nukem Forever will be ported to the PS3 and 360 after its PC release sometime in the near future

Could you imagine a Tomb Raider type game with the explosive style of Duke Nukem? Would be an amazing game to play. Would have to get rid of the pig-cops though and start with something new.

Not that I know of dude, I think the guys name was John something, Duke just used alot of Ash's lines from the Evil Dead movies.

For better and funnier movie references, I kindly point you toward.. Blood. It used the build engine, too. Used to love messing around with the map editor for Build. Never made much.. and by the time I was proficient with it, we had already leaped into Unreal Editing.
