Perhaps many black people support National alliance and the Black Panthers and they don't want their real opinion to be known, so why didn't you foresee this aspect?
I don't think that the KKK or the westboro baptist church represent every white either but as it is the case for a part of blacks supporting the black panthers and the national alliance, there are certainly many whites who support these organizations and who don't want their real opinion to be known as well.
