For starters when it comes down to guitarists
Greenwood>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Richards
By a very long way, it's not even a contest.
The Stones stick to the same boring formula, never wanting to step outside their boundaries, almost like Oasis who started out with two utter classics but then just carried on kicking the arse out of it. Like I mentioned earlier the reason that makes Radiohead a great band as it's the coming together of 5 supremely gifted musicians, who are always changing their direction, making a new classic, and never scared to try something new.
There's no doubt they will be remembered for as long as the Stones are.
Meh I think OK computer is a better album, you think exile on main street and let it bleed are better, it's not going to go anywhere.
Radiohead, live - '97 Glastonbury. Watch it, immense.

i think most people on this site would disagree with you there
CaDDaFy word of advice.
First stop making these posts polls. Because 10 options is never enough and all everyone is going to do is list who's missing.
Second you always only pick metal or rock bands. Which means your biased and miss out one hell of a lot of great artists, even if their not to your taste. I could put up around one hundred artists who should be on that list.
Third you've asked for vocalist and most of the most powerful and best are women. Which you have none of on your list and never seem too either in any of your polls.
Forth you seem to have forgotten the word ever means from the moment you read this. So who's to say I don't come along in 5 years time and list you another one hundred artists who's not been mentioned. Or a load of new artists.
And these should also apply to the others who keep posting on these. You only seem to want to stick your style of music down others throats.

Which still leaves...
Rap, Dance, Soul, Rythym N Blues, Jazz, Electro, Opera, pop....
Shall I go on and this is just my point with this post. How many people apart from Metal/Rock did you pick none. How many women who've double the amount of great vocalist to men none.
Like all the threads you start like this, you did no research and just picked your favourites. This is why you don't get answers you want like mine.

Also, for a guy who only likes Rock... he seems to know fuck all about it. Like he just reads things on the internet and just copys and pastes them onto here..
there is no one from these genres as good as the stones or the beatles
Which is based on Rythym N Blues, as have both Lennon/McCartney and Mick Jagger has said was there inspiration. So I'm afraid that comment does become a bit of a joke. Plus if you go deep enough back into music 90 percent of modern music stems from the early forms of SKA.
I didn't really want to point this out as I think I'm getting a bit to deep into this now. But since this has developed into who's music is best (again like all these threads) I thought I'd give you a little lesson.
I wouldn't bother trying to workout which music I like either. As it it easier to workout which I don't, Country, Jazz and plastic pop (music made just to sell to kids to get it to #1) are about the only 3 I hate.

does'nt mean it is the best
for me i dont think you can get better than the beatles or the stones imo
Where in my post did I say it was the best ?
I just pointed something out for you, that you surely didn't know.
This is way I didn't want to get into this, as like you and one or two others have shown. You're narrow minded when it comes to music and if you don't like it, won't discuss it. In fact try to attack the other posts.
Now I could tell you things on both your favourite bands you won't like, but whats the point. All this will do is get me arguing with you and others.
So from now on I'll leave this alone, as I don't see the point trying :o
