swords and cavalry. but swords are way better than spear. all around its better to have *****. they even have a little offense. but it doesnt hurt to have spear too. but with new villages, swords are the way to go. :thumbsup:
for a decent village, 2000 ***** and 1000 spear. maybe 500 LC too. thats what i try and do.
