I think he was sadly probably closer to the truth.

Thats what I hear! EVERYONE who lives in texas has been bitten by them! Guess I won't be going to texas...ever. Yet they wouldn't frighten me like spiders. Which is weird. I've never actually been hurt by a spider. There are far worse things out there that I'm not scared of that could actually hurt me! Talk about irrational fear!
