It's been a pretty rough last 6 months. My best mate died in October (drank hinself to death at the age of 41), I've had all kinds of grief from the Mrs (now being addressed successfully through couselling) and it looks like my Mum's year-long battle with lung cancer will end this week.
With all that heavy-heavy stuff happening, it's been nice to have a source of nonsense, irreverance and irrelevance. Half an hour (or longer
) spend looking at the pretty ladies or shooting the **** have allowed me to take my mind off the rather serious stuff happening.
