Terms that drive you crazy!!!!!!

"Bling" or "Bling Bling" to refer to jewelery....argghhhhhhhhhhh, retarted beyond belief and now it's supposedly in the dictonary....truly the decline of civilization if such a moronic illiterate term is being put in the dictonary.

I **** when radio people keep saying "speaking of...." and going into a random commercial for a vehicle, just because the traffic report told them a truck collided with a car.

commercials have their own play time, don't advertise when i want music!!!!

are we having fun yet?

you go girl.
you the man
and recently i've been hearing "think outside the box", alot.

One I didn't like was,

"This isn't going to hurt" or "This is only going to hurt a little bit".

Because you knew when you heard that there was a 101% chance it was going to hurt, a lot. Just tell me the truth.

On this board:

Pic doesn't work (when, through reasonable accomodation, it does)
Imageshack/Photobucket doesn't work here (same reasoning as above)
Is there a thread on her?

Hmmm...how about...

Calling the police 'Po-po'
Saying something is 'pimped out' or 'pimp'
"At the end of the day..."

People that use "WE"...Like when my boss tells me "WE need to do (fill in the blank)"...When what he means is I need to, or someone other than him!

they say that about syringes every time. :******:

Thought of some more.

Saying something is "the bomb" or worse "da bomb"
Saying something is "dope"
Saying you need "the 411" (need information)

"Same difference"

or when British people call their friends "mates"

The word "actually" has become a heavily overused qualifier.

Yep. That one's become epidemic, especially among politicians.

"What they say"
(what they mean):

"All of our customer service representitives are currently busy"
(to cut corners we're severely understaffed)
"Your call is very important to us."
(your call doesn't mean **** to us - LOL - we were all laughing so hard it took us eleven takes to try to make this sound sincere)
"Please stay on the line"
(even if it means you grow cobwebs and your bladder bursts)
"And your call will be answered in the order it was received"
(several folks are still on hold from 2006)
