I think the bulk of his support is from those who have been told that if a democrat wins religion will become illegal and they will take away your guns. They are told that to be a true american you have to vote republican because the others want to give rights to ******s and faggots. Then there are the corporations (and their executives) who know he'll let them fuck over their employees and dump chemicals in the rivers because the bible doesn't mention that you shouldn't do that.

Bush said that he doesn't listen to what's popular or what he himself thinks he should do. He said he preys to god and then does what he thinks god wants him to do, no matter what is popular.
