Some will already flavour it for you.

And then you have the "Ceremony Grade" quality direct from Japan, which gram-for-gram literally costs more than ******* *****.
Hmmm...well in that case I'll take a hot cup o' ******* ***** any day...any flavour will do👍

Bought green tea with Japanese Matcha today. It is kind of bitter tasting but I like it.

Lipton brand
It's an acquired taste, that's for sure. There's also a "proper" way to prepare it with the brush so that you get all those air bubbles.

Personally, I'm into the health benefits - and the pre-flavoured ones make the bitterness easier to handle.

I've never brewed tea. I just buy teabags. Add water to a 6 oz. cup, put the teabag in and then heat in the microwave. Good enough for me.

I'm like you - very basic, and that's good enough for me.

But if you go want to try a "proper" match prep, it's not too hard - all you need is the brush/whisk.
