Syrian Troops Open Fire on Protesters

Remember that saying from V for Vendetta: "People shouldn't be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people"?

Way to fuck up the system, Syria.

Syria can easily be kept in check by Israel's military ally Turkey. All they have to do is cut off water supplies. Almost all ******** water in Syria comes from rivers running through Turkey. ;)

For Turkey to do that it needs a new pro West/pro Israel gov't. Currently it's in the hands of a quasi Islamist.
The General's need to come back and re-institute the Kemalists.

just be sure to blame somebody else when the blowback finds it's way onto American soil

Seriously? Are we going with the premise that it hasn't been on American soil for a full generation? I suppose that 9/11 was a building demolisher showing up to the wrong address.

God help us. The Middle East is turning into...the Middle East.

Perhaps Israel can stop ******* innocent Turks in international waters? That might help relations a bit as well.

Oh you mean the Turkish Islamist Fun Bash intent on provoking Israel? Yeah well Israel had every right to kick ass in that event. The so called "peaceful" shipmates were anything but.
Turkey needs to get it's ass in gear and dump the anti Israel bull.

Doesn't matter if they did or not. ******* people of your only Muslim ally is a quick way to ruin relations.

Turkey's gov't was already in the hands of the quasi Islamists when the "Peace" flotilla set sail to provoke Israel. They didn't want to improve relations with Israel.

Bring back the secularists: the Kemalists and all will be well.

knowledge fail

58. Given the evidence at the Turkel Committee, it is clear that there was no reasonable suspicion that the Flotilla posed any military risk of itself. As a result, no case could be made for intercepting the vessels in the exercise of belligerent rights or Article 51 selfdefence. Thus, no case can be made for the legality of the interception and the Mission therefore finds that the interception was *******.
