I work in the Media industry, and from experience, I take some things the Indian press says (Billion dollar home in India is really US$170 million as an example) with the grain of salt- my South Asian Bureau colleagues say its probably a fraction of that value- its usually A grade movie stars command US $90k-200k an event which includes dancing and even DJing for a night. Why have chicken when you can get a steak?

For a stateside comparison- the Kardashians and Hiltons charge roughly US 150-200k for a nightclub or hosting a party, so she is nowhere in that league or can even dream of charging that much. Jenna Jameson,Sasha Grey, Tera Patrick - the super-celebs of porn will gladly open in Vegas for US $30K.

Her movie acting fees too are a fraction of that. Its probably US 90-100k a movie- which is a lot for someone who does not speak the language (it was dubbed from what I read), can't dance to save herself, or what she is best known for- won't be taking her clothes off.

1 crore is 10 million, right. By South Asian standards its still a sizeable amount, and from what i understand even top US adult industry performers get too little cumulative income in a month(12k USD or so for Sunny/month), she now lets say gets Rupees 0.5million in India just for one small event appearance(single day) and more if its some fashion ramp walk/dance/party thing whenever, so from that point its good earnings for her if she stays and/or spends that here, thats whats attractive from her perspective i guess right now than staying and performing in the US and precisely thats what she's doing now with lots of such offers coming her way.
