This just illustrates the need for tighter crossbow and machete control. We need crossbow free zones. Apparently anyone can get a crossbow and machete without background checks.

But the media will focus on the mental state of the accused instead of focusing on the weapons used in the attack, which, as any right thinking person knows were the real killers.

The damn National Crossbow Association will probably get it swept under the rug.

Fuck that. Social engineering isn't going to change what happened or bring a suitable conclusion to this mess. Not punishing this kid will reinforce his belief that he's a precious snowflake. Maybe he was yelling "Aloha Snackbar" while butchering his teacher and they're afraid of the repercussions of actually addressing the situation. Either way they're handling this like a bunch of Euro-pussies. Sometimes understanding, compassion and empathy are just fucking stupid. And by sometimes I mean almost always.
