Can't you wait ten or so years until your done playing then do the dangerous things? If you got crippled and were cut not only would you have to make the money you have so far last the rest of your life (which he hasn't even been in the league that long) but now it would be even harder to do a normal job, and you would have to live knowing you threw all that money away because you did something stupid.

If you aren't hurting anyone, I say live and let live. Ben Roethlisberger makes his living on the field, and he's just won the Superbowl. I don't give a shit what he does off the field, and riding a motorbike without a helmet certainly doesn't mean someone's a dick... he's only 24, and he made a bad decision, end of story.
Steelers for another championship.
Now off to watch Brasssssssssssssssil
Peace man

bonkers69 said:lost all his teeth but one, broke a sinus cavity, farctured both cheek bones, 9 inch cut oin his head a possibly a knee injury. Yeah he will be back in thime for the first game, if it was to be played in la la land. all i was trying to say is how stupid he must feel for screwing up like that, i know there are worse people out there and much more to bitch about. but this guy is supposed to be a role model and a champion, and he wears a helmet for a living. just dont get it, when i ride even if its down the street i always wear a helmet, its not worth death just so you can look cool. i kind of figured this topic would get at some peole in the wrong way but hey thats why i love americe, freedom of speech.
Good Job Ben see ya next year
It did do harm to a lot of other people. Like all his teammates that get bonuses for making it to the playoffs and the superbowl. Something they won't do with Charlie Batch. Would it have still been ok if he'd have killed someone? It does make him a dick because the Roony's invested a draft pick and a lot of money in him. The Steelers wanted his contract to say he wasn't allowed to ride a motorcycle, but he said he would sign with them unless they took that out of the deal. Furthermore he didn't even have a license to ride a bike. He had a expired learners permit. So he is as bad as a 14 year old driving a car without a license. He could have killed your mom or your son or your wife.********** said:I'm defending someone who didn't do anything to harm anyone. I'm no better or worse than anyone. And neither is he.
