Star Wars: The Force Awakens

CrimsonBolt

I AM A SLUT FOR RYAN GOSLING
i like star wars, but the 3 originals
what they doing after was crap.

I'm going to be really into Episode 7 until I hear that Disney had decided that the big baddie is going to be called Darth Donald Duck

A star destroyer sitting wrecked on Tattooine for years that the Jawas haven't managed to scrap? Yeah, I'm not believing that. ;) :1orglaugh.

It might even be a very good movie, but I will never get over how stupid that new lightsaber looks. I would have thought the best part of not having Lucas doing it would be the absence of dumb crap like that.

- Average size of Imperial Star Destroyers : 5,200ft x 3.300ft
- Average size of a jawa : 4ft
I guess it takes them some time to scrap it...

That is such a cool visual. I read on ign that it isn't Tattooine but some other deserty planet.

And it's the wreckage of the prequels that are slowly being buried by sand and time on
Tattoine until it's nothing but a distant and unpleasant memory as if it were a bad dream.

The planet shown in the trailer is not Tattooine. It's Jakku. I don't think any previous Star Wars planets are being used for the new franchise entries.

If it's another planet that would explain it.

You underestimate jawas tenacity when it comes to junk. ;)

One of the best looking aircraft I've ever seen.

Went to the Star Wars celebration in Aneheim Thursday. I can tell you the franchise is alive and well, the new trailer had the place buzzing, and if anyone can take these movies where they need to go it's J J.

I don't think it would be posible to do. Maybe a part of it, like the 2nd Age, from the forging of the rings to the Battle of Dagorlad. But even this part encompasses about 2000 years of Middle-Earth Historry, quite complicated to compress that much time into 3 movies.
I hold out hope that it will get done I think several parts of it would be unbelievable on the big screen.

For the EMPEROR!!

Nah, it's good ol' ..

And as for making The Silmarillion into a movie(s) I'm not sure if it could work. Although watching the Fifth Battle (the Nirnaeth) or Fingolfin versus Morgoth would be epic.

wwwwwwwoooowwwwww the new trailer of the new Star Wars oooooooooooooooooooooooooo bbbooooyyyy
Its magnificent .
For many cinematic releases, the best thing about the films were their trailers which built up the anticipation for the main film which disappointed.
That is not what I am sensing from the new Star Wars
The producers have provided just small snippets into the future release but not a whole mirage so as to ruin it for us
I have a goooddddd feeling about this one lads-hhhhaaaa

Is there an over/under on when the movie is leaked to the the Internet? ;) I'm betting two days before US Dec 18 opening.
