Give it a fucking rest already? Yes, the character was popular 30 years ago, but there comes a point when a character is spent. How believable do they really think a 70-year-old boxer is? Come up with new ideas instead of beating old ones beyond death.
Did any of you actually read the article? The movie is called "Creed" and it's about Apollo Creed's grandson. Rocky is retired and is going to be the ***'s trainer.
Who am I kidding? I'm watching it day 1 on demand. I dunno, Rocky training Apollo's grandson is kinda intriguing. Eye of the Tiger, man.

But the fact it's called Creed, does make it a spin-off of the Rocky Franchise. Based on this, Mr T can expect a phone call sooner rather than later. This is what movies have become, all about Franchises and endless spin-offs. In other words, flogging dead horses. It's why I haven't been to the cinema in a year, most of the movies for general release tend to be crap and aren't worth my money IMO. Give me something original damn it!
Without bothering to read the article I'll bet $2 dollars that Apollo's grandson will be played by Will Smith's ***.

If it's anything like Rocky Balboa then I'm all for it. That was a decent sendoff for the character not like Rocky V, which sucked total balls. Problem is I don't think Stallone is writing it so I'm skeptical.
