St Patricks Day

We do have a parade here, but I aint into parades. I will just kick back, drink brewskis, watch some African roundball on the tube, and pig out on a bunch of corned beef and cabbage.

I'm going leprechaun hunting.

Those little bastards keep getting in my house through the cracks in my walls. The leprechaun traps only work about half the time, but since it's considered legal tomorrow I'm gonna take as many of the wee buggers out as possible.

I use to do acid too!!;)

Is that today? If so I plan on surrounding myself with some Jameson Irish whiskey and Guinness Irish stout while wearing a green tie. Hopefully I can blend in that way.

So can anyone help me with this question:

I heard that if your Catholic you wear green on St. Patrick's Day and a different color if you are Protestant (orange?) is this right or someone trying to joke with me?

My city has a lot (understatement) going on in different places. However the OVI task force (cue the dramatic dun dun duuuun music) will be out in full force and have spots all throughout the city to ensure nobody is drinking and driving starting Wednesday night ending at Saturday night.

One part in downtown has a whole street for this kind of thing. Only difference is is people will be wearing green and a lot of adult leprechauns running around. Of which I will be making sure they stay away from my Kimmy. The example has been set!

As for me, I don't know what I will be doing, most likely staying in until evening and do my usual thing. I'm slightly boring :D

It's big business for the gov't to put as many folks in the slammer or detox on days like these. I've been dumped in detox on three occasions, and everytime I get an f'n bill in the mail for $225.00. I just wait 'til tax season and let them take it out of there, but there are a shitload of bums in there that never pay, that's for sure.

I'm gonna spend the day waiting for the Sears repairman to come and fix the leak in the washing machine. :(

Almost, but not quite. You wear green if you're Protestant, and orange if you're Catholic. Originally, the color worn on St. Patrick's Day was blue. ;)

Ooooh You Might actually unite the two warring factions there GSB. Unite them in pursuit of you for getting their colours wrong. :D

Pay one of the local neighbourhood kids a couple bucks to go and start your car every morning just to make sure.......

Fuck if I know. I'm just spitting out what I've been told. I couldn't give half a rat's ass if they wore pink and purple. Since I'm neither, I wear green for 2 reasons: 1. because it's what 99% of people in the US wear on St. Patrick's Day, and 2. because if I'm wearing green it gives me an excuse to pinch people, and thereby try to add to my nipple collection. :)
