That fucking clerk at the gamestop asked me if i want to get the strategy guide when i picked up my copy today! i told her without hesitation "i'm buying the game to play it and experience it,not to have a book sitting on my lap the whole time to immediately look into if i get stuck,i have a functioning brain...i'll figure it out!"

pretty sure they gave up on that one. although if they wait another 15 years the actor thomas jane would be perfect to play as fisher. hes like 30ish so he needs to age lol

That idea has serious potential, Ive always thought a movie could really work and with him in place of sam, that sounds like a good casting choice. You would need to have michael ironside pull a cameo somewhere though. I always thought the perfect entrance would be have him enter off screen, drop a line of sams from the game and walk into frame.

Or he could play one of the bad guys or security guard that gets knocked out by Sam in a twist of roles. He could have a line as I been doing this longer than you have so do whatever you have to do... Or a line that shows he's been doing the voice and been the man behind Sam since the beginning.

yea michael ironside partly makes splinter cell what it is. what they could do is cgi like beowulf or whatever that movie was and have ironside voice act it. OR have thamoas jane play sam but whenever he has a line show his back and have ironside talk hahaha

If they make a movie of this, I pray they dont make it in the same pitiful way they made that piece of shit movie, beowulf. Live actors in this case would be great (Other wise you might end up watching a long FMV) and the thomas Jane idea is still the best Ive heard of to date!

Let the movie makes take heed of the call of freeones and cast him! Ill sign up as creative consultant if need be!

haha i never actually saw beowulf, just thought the idea would be decent if you couldnt get the right actor. and yea what else is tomas jane in? ive only seen him in the punisher.
