If you can read this, your brain is 50% faster than those who can't

It's rather cool!

yip no probs the only bit was the posters name:rofl:

I've heard this many times, but never before have they said it makes you 50% faster. I think that part is rubbish.
same here. it only works because you can read properly in the first place, not because your brain is faster than anybody else's. not to mention the fact that 50% would be a hell of a lot, considering the power of the human mind.

yea, i've seen stuff likethis before, its freakin awesome to me....words dont have to be in order for our mind to decifer it...cool stuff

That's why I dislike the "spelling police" so much on boards. If you can see its spelled wrong you know what the poster meant, because you know what was misspelled. so just read on. ;) No harm no foul. I say. Speaking of people that make spelling errors only. This does not include intentional "hood" language crap.

LL

been done before. Actually it's more like most everyone is able to read it!

OMFG. i was just looking for this stupid thing.

i wanted to show it in regard to the "pay porn" thread, where everyone saw "gay porn"

Another spelling test, if you know the answer please don't go shouting it out coz some might not:

How many F's in this sentence?

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

why does this not seem difficult?

I'd like to be next to someone that couldn't read it. Just to see their reaction. (special needs and handicap people not included)

Yeah! If you do not pronounce the "F" you don't count it. Very frustrating!

Not to rain on the parade or anything, but the original article is not quite correct. There was another article written using the same pattern that essentially explained why it was wrong. I don't remember what the reason was (give me a break, it was a few years ago since I read it), but I do remember it was completely unreadable (which of course was the point).

Read it in about 40 seconds, but that was because I had to translate it after reading...

if it works, it works.

That there exists a case in which it does work does not imply that all cases work. As I said, the article written to counter it was in itself proof that it didn't.
