Soymilk - Yea or Nay?

In the past I'd always buy milk at the grocery store but would ***** about half of a gallon jug before it would start rotting and I would have to throw it out. Then I started buying 1/2 gallon jugs and it ran out to quickly.

So, one day I was at the store and looked at the back of a soymilk carton. Did you know soymilk has a shelf-life of almost 2 months? I've heard of the health benefits of soymilk over the years but was reluctant of trying because it's made from soybeans.

So, I picked some up. Its a bit pricier about $3 for a 1/2 gallon carton. I rushed home and decided to have some cereal for dinner (reliving my old college days). I poured a bowl of raisin bran, sprinkled 1 package of equal on the top, and poured some soymilk over the top of the cereal. I wanted to stop pouring when soymilk has an off-white color.. Hmmmm.....
I grabbed a spoon and started eating the cereal. Slowly at first because I was a bit wary of the taste. After a few bites, I turned to my imaginary friend Mikey and said "I like it". Soymilk has a unique taste but not in the bad sense. As for the best analogy of the taste it kinda tastes like Pepsi when you're used to ******** ****.

I use if for everything now -- mac n' cheese, cookies, cereal.

In the grocery stores, they sell a 2 - half gallon box for about $5.50 - $6.
