Everyone's tweeting their nuts off about the PS3 Slim at the moment. It's got a nice 120Gb hard-drive but I think there's still some confusion as to whether it'll be upgradable or not. Looks kinda ugly to me though, plus in the UK it's going to be £250! I'd been wishfully thinking that the $299 price tag might stay intact after the conversion making it around £199
What's
really awkward for Sony though is the decision to release the PSP Go so near to the PS3 Slim and for £230. Why the hell would someone get the Go when they can get a PS3 for only £20 more? It seems really strange to me that they'd do that.
I don't know why they just don't work on a PSP phone to compete against the iphone. They have the back catalouge of games ready to go (something Mac has always had trouble with). Maybe it's some kind of Ericsson contractual thingy.
I'd choose a PSP phone over an iPhone anyday. I'd rather have a good portable games console that's a shit phone than a good phone that's a shit games console.
