I have a dinc and it was recently announced via Twitter / Verizon that gingerbread came the incredible. Ive also read about other ppl getting but I have yet to receive it. Has anyone in palm springs California or the surrounding area received it yet?

Geez ppl I just wondering about its progress. It was released Sunday . A VZW rep told me it would take 7 to 10 to reach all the phones.

I think for one...text or twitter styled posts are fairly discouraged here.
It's like you dropped the board (or those of us who bothered to hazard a guess as to what you were talking about (the bored)) into the middle of some chat or text discussion you were having.
Being clear and concise with your subject then following it with decently structured sentences and paras will do.
And remember, this is a topic forum not twitter tweets. Therefore, I believe the board admin prefers full words and not text message styled abbreviations.

I only used a few abbreviations . Because I think most people can understand what VZW stands for. If you don't its Verizon wireless . Oh ppl stands for people if you've lived under a Damn rock for 30 years. Sound it out you dumb fucks.

Yes, but because we are generally stupid, Americans are not very good at English - and showcase this quite often while at the same time complaining about illegals who are not using proper English.
At the same time, there are also those who are too lazy to type out those entire words - laziness being another great American trait. I mean, who has the time to type out "you" when "u" will suffice?
This is a tradition bought on our forefathers, for whom the original Constitution read:
(unknown to many, there is also a 290 page rant about "those fucking Highland Scott immigrants".)

gingerbread is the new software update.

Your main problem (besides your attitude) is that in your original post, you say
- missing out (I am assuming) the word WITH between came and incredible. This one little word makes the sentence actually make sense.
This board is not just for the USA (I believe that it is actually hosted in the Netherlands), so VZW is not known to a large number of board users. There are also quite a few members who do not use English as their first language, so abbreviations such as "ppl" may well not be understood even by those not having lived under rocks.
Please note that Board Rules (which can be read here) state:
5.) Do your best to make your posts easy for everyone to read!
Please post in english as ths is the official board language.
Don't use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS as this is considered "shouting" and it makes your post very hard to read.
Do your best to use correct grammar and punctuation (i.e. use paragraphs and avoid deliberately misspelling words).

Yes,it does stand for Droid incredible. I'm glad somebody here understands what I'm talking about. And I'm not being aggressive nor do I have an attitude. It just seems a ton of people here are not the sharpest tool in the shed. Meaning they less then the adequate number of brain cells to think.

I got it this morning in NJ. The only thing i notice so far is when you close a program it fades out instead of just closeing real quick.
I'm sure most people on here understand text language, however not everyone here speaks English as their first language and may not understand text language.
The world does not revolve around America, be considerate to the members of this forum who cannot speak English as well as you, most of which are probably a hell of a lot smarter than you
So saying that the members who tell you to use proper words rather than abbreviated ones are Idiots is just ridiculous. It is in the rules that you should use full words, so if we don't want you to speak in abreviated words, it is not because we can't understand them, it is because it says in the rules not to
