I'm not up on baseball. But it would seem to me that whoever Curt is, apparently has even more reason to be under suspicion for steroids hence the term "sock" pitcher :dunno:

Well,I'm not really sure he'd get into much trouble from saying he used "sreoids". To my knowledge "sreoids" are perfectly legal. Are you really still that upset about St Louis getting swept in 2004 ? Get over it.

Schilling had a torn up ankle from the 2nd round of the playoffs and into the world series in 2004. At a time during those playoffs you could clearly see ***** soaked through his sock. Jmr seems to believe that the only way Schilling got through pitching was by loading up on steriods or sreoids as he likes to call them.

JMR did you ever stop to think that maybe he used regular pain meds or just bit his lip and delt with the pain! Steroids just pump you up strength wise. Am I missing something here? I never knew they could be used to help take away pain :dunno:

How do we know that Joe Carter or Kirby Puckett or Carlton Fisk didn't use steroids? You could ask that question about literally everybody ever.

Just because the dude had ***** on his sock, from a ******** wound that he received during surgery, doesn't mean he took steroids.

I cut my finger at work once and got ***** on a towel...so, I guess my performance in the kitchen should get judged because there is a good chance that I was on steroids. :dunno:

thats how we do know he was on steroids. now he is off them and his body is nowhere near what it was only a few years ago.

He IS almost 41 years old. I don't to many people who haven't lost a little bit at that age.

I don't see anything that would ever indicate he took them. You would think somebody would need more than a little bloodstain to accuse him.

What's ironic about this thread is the fact I always thought Schilling was one of the more outspoken people against steroids.
