So Is Oregon State the "new" baseball factory?

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
There are already too many "baseball factory" schools in NCAA baseball.

Arizona State, LSU, Florida, Miami, Stanford, Rice, Texas, Clemson, Florida State...

Oregon State is just another school that is going to get more recruits and nothing more. The competition is just too good.

I think it's like any sport where things move and shift over time. Remember in football how Miami used to be the "football factory". Now players still come from there but they don't dominate like they used to. Just like before the three Florida schools came to prominence schools like Nebraska, Alabama, and Notre Dame were considered football factories.

In basketball most people could probably remember when North Carolina never seemed to put out a bad team, but look at their recent history.

I'm not a fan of Oregon State. I'm a U OF O girl. But Oregon State has a kick ass baseball team. Now U of O needs to get it together and get a ball team. So they could kick some beaver ass.

actually, nebraska was never a football factory. there is a difference between a factory and a powerhouse. nebraska being the latter, doesnt have a good track record of producing stud players for the pros. :2 cents:
