At my university, there's support groups for:
African-Americans
Asians
Natives
Latinos
GLBT
And people of foreign descent
To take it further, there is a elementary Hmong culture school (Hmongs only of course) where they teach them their language, arts and culture. They also have a similar school for Natives.
Sometimes I wonder if I should even bother anymore.

Absolutely. Chai Vang. It was amazingly huge local news, of course. I'm literally from the same neighborhood. My friend lives next to a family and they have chickens in their garage. It's crazy. What used to be a Swedish, German, Polish, Italian, German neighborhood with the most notable hockey program in the country has totally changed now. There are taco trucks all over, liter in the streets, gang violence. It took all but about three decades for that to happen. :crying:

Actually, there's lots of Irish as well. Good people.To be fair, one of my best friends is Indo Chinese (never got into Laosian or Hmong) and he totally had his head on his shoulders. Great baseball player; good football, soccer and basketball player. Went to college right out of HS. Played DIII football.
Played golf with him and a couple of his cousins and they were driving BMW's and Lexus's, so didn't want to paint too broad a picture. HThey really do overall isolate though. They are the most segregating bunch you will meet, and probably even more racist than any group you will ever meet. Well, as an American, I don't go around with a "We're number 1" attitude (but certainly not a "we suck" attitude either), I don't think Europeans are pussies (well, maybe France haha), Santa doesn't live at the north pole anymore, because of global warming, when I think of Australia I think of a large container of beer and Holly Valance sitting on my lap while we drive across the outback...and...ah...No, Holly, that's not the gear shift....I didn't say stop....
