Snow In UK!

My neice and her ****** stayed home with the **** and had a great fun snowday!
She sent photos to all the ****** of their 2 year old making snowballs, and a snowfella...some people turn a ****** day off into a fun time.
Since my neice grew up in Texas, as did her husband, snow is a real treat, And living in London makes it even more so.
That was a lot of snowfall.

So the economy lost over a billion pounds yesterday.

Nice to know that the government and authorities show their concern about the recession by NOT getting the gritters out on Saturday and Sunday, NOT preparing the Tube and Rail networks, and NOT adhering to the weather warnings that we've been having since Thursday night.

Ten out of ten.

Your absolutely right, if they are going to bitch an moan about what the effects of the snow have done they really need to take a look at what they did to avert this situation. No they cannot stop the snow coming but as you say preparation for the after effects is essential.

Why didnt they do it? There doesnt seem to be any answer that doesnt make them look like a bunch of incompitent idiots.

I heard that some of the council's in the south east made budget cuts to snowfall preparation because it's been such a long time since we've had any major snowfall worth worrying about. Great timing wasn't it.

Walking to work yesterday was fun, today was DEADLY. Too much ice, cars skidding all over the place!

Look on the bright side. If there is one good thing I have learned about snow (and perhaps the only good thing) it's that it does a good job covering all the people's garbage in the neighborhood giving the illusion that it's not there.
