Corey Taylor from Slipknot needs to shut the hell up. That garbage they were playing when they first came out are part of the reason why rock music is almost completely dead among young people in the U.S.
They made crap music for teen boys who were rebelling against their parents. All those silly growls and masks and dissonant noise they called music? I guess most people have grown out of it.

I'd like to go on record in stating that I've shared this exact sentiment from back in the mid 90's during the mind numbing fad of the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and Brittney Spears. And now as someone studying music theory, these sentiments have only gotten worst.
