A few years ago when I was first getting started on the net, I came across a Silvia fan site. Like the usual pics, it also had a message board. While message boards are common now, a few years ago (to me atleast), they weren't so prevalent, especially for one person.
It was never confirmed whether or not the real Sylvia Saint had any part of it, but it seemed atleast who ever was running it, was well in the loop for her career (knowing about her schedule and future movie releases).
Anyway, the story went (and was never denied if that means anything) that after making the trek from Europe to North America she was introduced to Mr Marcus. They soon started dating. I never heard for how long, but things went bad. Marcus was verbally and possibly physically abusive towards Sylvia. He demanded that he be the only man she work with on film (to further boast his own career), but wanted to continue playing the field at work and on the home front. He also kept close tabs on Sylvia when she went out and it was said that the Police had to step in a split the two up when he thought she got a little too friendly at an autograph session. Furthermore, at one point he arrived at her place with a couple of his buddies and demanded she satisfy all of them. When she refused, he got angry and screamed at her as well as punching a wall and throwing an object at her. His own buddies intervened, but the damage was done. Sylvia grabbed the first flight she could and headed back home. When she arrived, she took a hiatus from the biz. And started a life far removed from porn (got engaged to an average guy and was said to they tried having a baby).
That was to the point when I last checked the board. She's since returned to NA, but as you've noticed, stayed as far away from Marcus as she can.
Like I said, plenty of men and women in the jizz biz hook up, but Sylvia is the first to my knowledge to actually leave the biz when her relationship ended. And IMO, Mr. Marcus should be put on the same level as Marc Wallice.
