For me, I think it is harder to choose a winner in this thread than the MOTW thread!

There are too many "____ of the week" threads with too many different schedules and rules, IMO. I can't keep them straight; I COULD if I used a calendar each week for this, but I don't have the inclination to memorize ever-changing schedules and different rules for each thread. Sorry to "**** on the parade," and no offense intended, but juballs' MOW is clear and simple, a great model from which to run these other "____ of the week" threads, IMO. It's just getting too confusing.

It's great to have/show recognition for people's sigs, posts, and overall weekly contributions as members, but these different schedules and methods for determining them (nominations don't count as votes, then we vote, and the days change and overlap, etc.) is unduly complex.

Sorry you feel that way about my SOTW.

But please don't get involved, if you don't like the idea. This thread has been filled with enough questions already it's time for it to kick into action for the people who want to be part of it.

I like Seraphim's sigs of late. They're cool.

Again I have to debate this point with you my friend Fly (sorry ).If everything was the same it would be boring.Most humans need changes to keep them interested and again if you set out the rule clearly and simply I can't see a problem.You keep putting 'Sorry to **** on the parade' but you aren't even waiting to see if an idea takes off before you post your opinion.

You continue to take a thread 'off topic' by doing so.When you could easily have done it by PM once the thread has taken off or is failing.You did the same in POTW thread after I'd already told you in PM what I was doing.If you take time to look at the rules to POTW nothing over runs into anything else.As I know thats what your talking about.Also as you keep telling me it's my baby but you continue to take swipes at it.

IMO you should give something a month or so,to see if it's going to work or not before you give your opinions in 'PM' and then see if anything changes.
