Sick on New Years

Oh, fucking WAH! I've had a cold since Saturday. I had to load in Primus yesterday, and I have to go load them out tonight. Not only am I sick, but I'm working on New Year's.
I feel great, and am going to a huge party with live music at someone's enormous house. Free food and booze.

Mine actually. I stand on a stepladder in my bathroom, pull up and tape my sack to my pelvis, and then turn the heat up really high. I usually try and time it so that when the tape finally slips from my skin due to the perspiration, the ball in NYC has fallen as well. So far I've always come up a minute or two short, but this is going to be my year, I can feel it.

I had a shift scheduled at the Tropicana for Noon to 8PM. Wonderful! Good money, prostitutes everywhere, and I'm back home by 8:30. Then my boss asked me to switch. He's a good guy, and I'm trying to hook a teaching job from him so I want/need to stay on his good side. So now I'm at South Point Casino, working....wait for it......8PM to 4AM. :suicide::hairpull::weeping: This is going to suck major donkey balls. South Point is a cowboy casino, so Lord only knows what midnight is going to be like.
And to top it all, I have to be back at the Tropicana tomorrow at noon. More donkey ball sucking!

It actually wan't bad at all, so I guess I owe South Point Casino an internet apology. It was crowded but not a madhouse, and everything went smoothly. I'm used to the place when the National Finals Rodeo is in town. That's when the place is packed to the rafters. But I had a good night, last night. :thumbsup:

Well, I got the flu. Had it for two days. Still managed to drink some lambic and enjoy the ball drop. Today, not so much. Juice, meds, Barret-Jackson car auction, more meds, sleep, and a few posts here. Oh well, I can't be as exciting as some of you who get to hang and bang the stars.

I had a stinker of a cold on Christmas and I'm just getting over it in time for work on Monday 
It seems I am still not out of the woods about that damn cold I had in my holidays. And my workplace is trolling me: either they turn the heat up like hell or they open the windows when it is fucking stormy outside
stayed home with the kids and the wife. After we put the kids together, we brought in the new year properly.
