This is our new kitten that we adopted last month. She's 5 months old and named Bella. Apparently, when we went to our local shelter to look at kittens, Bella had just been returned that week by the people that previously adopted her. Why? Because she was "too playful".
That is such a cool looking cat. We were thinking about getting a girl cat. Sam, has sort of attached himself to me, and we thought a girl cat would relate more to my wife...and give our little spawn of Satan someone to play with all day, as opposed to knocking everything off of our shelves.

And this little guy is from a kennel in Texas. *** of "Best of Breed" dame and sire and grandson of UCA Grand Champion. He will arrive in a little over a month.

The wall isn't quite as pink in person as in the picture (this is just a week or three after Anders got his new dSLR and was playing with it) but it's still pink. Kind of salmon...
And so far the laptop hasn't complained. Then again, I think V has access to loads of dustoff at work. ;-)

They're so cute and lovely.
I lose him at night all the time. The other night I was reading about shadow people and I woke up in the middle of the night and caught this shape sitting next to my bed staring at me. First thought was "eek! Shadow person!" but the shadow started purring...I'm not a paranormal expert or anything, but I don't think shadow men purr.
I really, really didn't want a female. We went to the shelter with all the intention of finding a male kitten, however, while we were looking at all the balls of fur rolling around on the ground Bella came up behind us and started demanding that we pick her up and pet her. By the time the shelter people could get to us, it really wasn't a discussion who we were taking home with us.
And, the big reason we got her is since we had to put my husband's cat down in May, my cat lost his buddy and he got quite depressed and stopped playing. So last month my husband finally took pitty on him and decided that it was time to get a new cat. I'm not really sure if I like the fact that they use our bed as part of their race track at 4am though....
Adorable! And I don't particularly care for dogs!

Actually it was my idea. Her 2 cats, that came with her in our marriage, were loyal to her, and Sam sort of picked her, but then kind of picked me, as his choice of favorite pillow, buddy...whatever. My thought was, he's a guy, I'm a guy...makes sense. So a girl cat for her, and also, we were hoping it would eliminate any sort of "alpha male" bull ****, that might result in a ******* problem. Both would be fixed, and we would get a younger girl...maybe a year, Sam is about 3.
YOUR BED?!?! How long have you actually owned a cat? And what makes you think you're allowed to ***** on their race track?

I'm praying none - I've had that sofa since I was a bachelor in German in 86...
Lady and Knalle both tried to start on it but I stopped them before the damage got past this.
Helps that the pups pretty much go where I go.
