Should The Simpsons end?

Yep. The show should end, not very funny like it used to be.

>>> OR <<<

Evolve the show with the characters much older along with a new cast of miscreants.

In my opinion that would instantly **** the show. I'd rather the series bow out with what little grace is left and just start a new series if it came to that

i cant find the proof but about 2 weeks ago i seen it has been renewed for 2 more seasons which will make it the longest running show passing *** smoke

I think they're only keeping it going to set more records. The show's humor and originality ran out long ago. It's kind of like watching the New **** On The Block try to still pretend they're cool, popular teens when half of them have **** and a growing **** gut.

Stopped watching after the episode with Ricky Gervais (I've said it before, but that episode felt like an unabashed plug for SKY HDTV)

After 22 years - Heck Yes.

Speaking of the Simpsons, recently watched the episode where Bart exchanged the set hymn with In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Haven't laughed so hard in ages.

I think it should've ended once the movie was released. And it was pretty good. But, usually, whenever they do something like that, it means the end of the show entirely.

I mean, how long has it been around? 20 years more or less? It may be time to finally put it to rest. Not that I have a problem with the show, it just may be time for it to go.

How about suggestions on how you would fix the Simpsons?

Or...do you like to whine about a program you could easily just avoid? :tongue:

Don't end it. It may not be what it once was, but that might be because our expectations are so much higher. It is still better than 90% of the comedies on TV.

I've basically been avoiding it since the episode where they discovered Flanders was a Beatles nut, at least that's the last episode I recall. I catch it here and there when nothing else is on but I hardly ever laugh. I just shake my head. First, I would hire back all the original writers like Conan and Greg Daniels but most went on to better things. We know about Conan, but Daniels now produces the U.S. Office and King of the Hill and many of the other writers got snagged by Pixar or Dreamworks
