I think the collapsing U.S. economy and the Wars in Iraq/Afghan will matter more, in the end, then some crazy pastor. There are enough crazy 'Pub Pastors to do a bunch of responder ****** ads. This "Holy War" will cancel itself out. Voters are not going to put "religion" above the sinking economy, the loss of their home, and an endless bloodbath civil currently going on in Iraq. Hmm. What happened to the "Surge"? I suppose McCain will come out backing "a new Surge" and "another change in strategy" to quell the ********:dunno:I think you are correct here.If Obama is the nominee the republicans will go after him big time on these kinds of things. You will hear about the Rev, Wright and his comments about America, his writing that have just come out on Israel, the Reverands relationship to Farrakan etc. They will do everything they can to play on racial bias of whites and you will hear how his election would probably mean more affirmative action programs etc whether that is true or not.The Pubs know how to play the game rough, lets not forget Willie Horton.
Friday...there are some states that Hillary won which Barack will win--California, New York, Massachusetts specifically. Texas was a close call for Obama and may go Blue as a result of Bush Guilt...The 3 states I specified would vote for a martian as long as it was a registered Dem.
I do think that Obama might have trouble bringing his wins in the South along with him.
But I believe the more bad news that comes...the shittier the economy and Wars go..the more depressed Pubs will get and the less likely they are to turn out at the elections.
Wait until McCain screws himself in a debate between Obama or Hillary. They each will eat him for lunch in a debate....
