Originally from Würzburg, Bavaria, artist Joshua Bronaugh paints deeply emotive portraits that make you feel as though you’re watching memories slip away. His beautiful brushstrokes make up figures of women yet Bronaugh keeps his work abstract, almost making us feel as though his work is undone. With his careful use of color and light, he tells incredible stories, making us fill in the details with our own experiences.
