hey guys i was wondering if i could get your take on a current situation i'm in. theres this girl in my class (were in college) who i instantly felt an attraction towrds. shes from new york, but were in cali and weve started talking alot latley. Last thursday i was sitting in the cafeteria with a friend talking, i saw her walk bye and said hi to her. She asked if she could sit with me, so of course i obliged.
After talking for about an hour she got up to leave and asked if i was comming with her to go sit with a mutual friend of our’s in class. I told her i needed to finish talking with my friend and that i’d catch up with her. So we meet up a few mintues later and we go to class. After class she rushed off so i caught up with her and we started talking some more. I walked her to her car and we stood in the parking lot for about an hour and a half talking about pretty much everything relationships, jobs, friends even sex. during our conversation i found out how much we had in commom.
After about an hour we walked over to her car and she didn’t just get in and say bye. She put her stuff in the back and lingered for a few mintues and we talked even more. after about 5 mintues she said she had to go, cause she had a date. I didn’t impose or ask about it i just said i’d see her later and i asked if she had a myspace ( i thought asking for her number would be too forward), she said no she didn’t but she has a facebook, then she asked for my phone and she put her # in and told me to text her my email. we said bye and that was it.
okay i know theres rules but i texted her my email that night (bare in mind i don’t text i **** it, in person is the only way i like to talk to people). The next day i found her on facebook, so i messaged her and asked if she got my text because my phone said it had been sent but it wasn’r in my outgoing? she said she hadn’t and wanted to know if she had given me the right number so she gave it to me again.
Now beilive me i do want to see her more and a relationship would be great, but ive made the mistake of acting too soon and watching it blowup in my face, i don’t want a repeat of that.She left for home tuesday morning for thanksgiving and i really didn’t want her to forget about me while she was gone. So i called her around noon, she didn’t pick up but i left a message. I did something i really didn’t want to do but it was an impulse, i said ” hey it’s me i was hoping to catch you before your flight but i guess i didn’t, anyway i hope you have fun and have a good thanksgiving. maybe when you get back we can go for coffee or lunch and you can tell me how it went”. I haven’t heard back from her yet.
Thats pretty much the entire story, i know its long but i didn’t want to miss anything; so whats your take on it? is she into me or am i just putting way too much thought into this?
