Beyond DD/F cup, there is little standardization. And even DD/F cups are not always the same. My wife is a F cup at Fredricks of Hollywood, but more of a DD and even D (depending on the bra) at Lane Bryant. I think at lot has to do with the former being for hourglass, curvy models and the latter more for full figured women. Every woman varies in width, hang, separation, etc... that the sizes really don't matter -- except what you love.
In my case, I love the breasts when they are set on a nice, hourglass figure. To me, it's Sharon's 36-27-37 figure (her chest is probably much bigger when you include the bust) that gets me, especially at 5'7" and age 35.
