i've done this several times and definitely want to be a part in more group settings. with the proper mix of people this is a wonderful experience to have. that said, it's not something to just jump right into with anyone you know who's willing, that will most likely lead to an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. make sure everyone involved is legitimately into and comfortable with the idea and that everyone is on the same page with boundaries and whatnot.

hahaha yeah i can't blame you for the teasing after rereading my ridiculous description, i wasn't really trying to make it sound spiritual like it turned out. but anyway, i suppose i can't speak for the extra guy(s) but for the girl and i it can feel that way as we have a deep connection and both get really into it as long as she's able to relax and fully enjoy herself. the most important thing in any setting is that the woman has to know that she is ultimately in control of the situation and having the presence of someone who cares for her and has her trust really helps. although, as long as you avoid involving craigslist creepers and bar flies and stick with people who you already know and trust then that last part should be a non-issue, but still, her comfort makes it better for everyone so there's no such thing as too much.

That makes sense! Unless your relationship is generally polyamorous I could see the benefit of the third person not being someone you know super well. As long as there's trust and everyone involved is good at communicating beforehand, I could imagine it being wonderful.
