Because the so called change "we can believe in" has been more a mess than a positive one and because I am sure that there is a better candidate than him. Not everyone is liking him and not everyone is a left winger.

He's a hack politician. That's the truth of it. If Palin had finished up her term in office, ran for Senator while learning the nuts and bolts of policymaking, she would be a better candidate then McCain. Palin gets a lot of unfair criticism, the truth is that his campaign was in the toilet before he selected a VP and that his highest point in the polls was just after she was selected.

Palin is a walking list of talking points. Unfortunately that's what passes for a candidate nowadays.

I have literally NEVER seen a person fall back a talking point faster than Palin in an interview (or debate). She gets asked a question then obliviously falls back on some talking point nearly irrelevant to the question. I suppose she thought she heard a question about Saks Fifth Avenue when she parroted out the old 'rein in spending' auck...

What about our illegal meddling in Libyan affairs under potus obama, didn't he have to consult with Congress first before entering the fray? NO, as an alternative, (you gotta love this since you're everything alternative) obama sought approval from a gaggle of appointed internationalist elites in the UN and the Arab League in order to get American forces involved in Libya.

I don't get too excited about it these days.

It wasn't a reinstatement..it was an extension of provisions with sunsets or, set to expire. You should also know the USA PATRIOT Act has been changed since the days of Obama's contention with it.

Who cares if it still goes by the same name when the contested provisions are no longer at issue?

The 3 provisions Obama extended were; COURT APPROVED roving wiretaps, COURT APPROVED seizing of records and property and surveillance against lone wolf non Americans. :2 cents:

Oh, same for the FISA issue.. Obama was never against FISA (as it was a long standing, legal process) what he was against were policies Bush engaged in which allowed the g'ment to GO AROUND the FISA courts. That is no longer the case. :2 cents:
