They are Skrulls, a shape shifting ***** race in the Marvel universe. Apparently they've been taking the place of a ton of Marvel heroes and villains all this time.

Though it is unknown how the Skrull invasion began and for how long it has been going on, writer Brian Michael Bendis revealed in interviews that the motivation is the destruction of the Skrull Empire in Annihilation; the Skrulls believe that Planet Earth "is religiously and rightfully theirs."[1] Bendis said there have been hints of the Skrull plot placed as far back as New Avengers #1, and 2004's Secret War.

I have been trying to keep up with it online. I can't afford many comics right now. I'll buy them when I finally get my disability and hopefully my back pay.

Loki as a female won't last. Thor has been good since it restarted.

My favorite part about it all was the return of Nick Fury. Been missing since the Secret War series back in 2004. Came back kicking ass and taking names.

It wasn't "Oh, let's wound them and capture them or make them run off." Nick's attitude was "**** them all!"

I just picked it up today. Ain't read it, yet. so, i'll post my thoughts when i do.

Read it. Great read. This storylinehas great promise. In enough so to get me back to reading comics, something I ain't done since Civil War. I love the idea of Norman Osbroune being a major player and being the leader in this whole thing. That and, I liked the exchange bet. Doom and Namor.

Loki and her new tits are still disturbing to say the least!
