Scott Brown in Massachusetts

Yeah!!!

well...i'm certainly not that anti-democrat. In fact...i've always strode right down the middle.

I'm just happy because the democrat-controlled massachusetts senate has ****** laws in the past specifically to keep republicans from gaining senate seats.

And that's bullshit.

WOOHOO!!!!!! Gone is the filibuster busting majority of the Democrats. Now let's wait & see if they try to pass every legislation with resolution.

In light of the circumstances it proves three things...Demos still can win elections in spite of knowing how to govern, GOPers in spite of not knowing how to govern still understand how to win elections and the electorate by and large is fickle.

^^^They have already said they might delay his swearing as long as they can. That was last week (I believe), so we'll see how the bluest of states reacts to electing someone from the Right side of the tracks.

It looks like some change is happening ... just not what Obama thought it would be.

Scott Brown is so cool that he actually made a great joke in his acceptance speech and said, "I talked to Obama and asked him if he would like me to drive my truck to Washington so he could sit it in?" :moon:

What a guy...loves his truck :lovecoupl

I'm not a big fan of democrats at all, but I hope everybody realizes that for actually caring about your fellow human beings, and putting the well being of everybody over oneself the USA just potentially took a gigantic step back.

Of course if your a fan of looking after number one, knifing your fellow citizens in the back if it will help you, and selfishness you are probably happy, especially if you already got yours.

To be honest, I never had enough hope for my country or my fellow countrymen to think something as right as universal government run health care, like almost every other decent industrialized nation in the world has, could ever really come to pass, and that was from the beginning. I always hoped and thought it might happen, but deep down inside I knew the probably outcome. It’s just too sane and logical a thing to do, and it's not like the people in this country actually care about what's in the best interest when their is rhetoric to listen to. The people of this country have had no trouble letting the rich, businesses, and elite rule them like kings for years now even when it’s not in their best interest, why would they change now? The sickness that is greed has become like a cancer that is so far advanced in us it's now impossible to remove and it will eventually **** us. I saw it then. I see it now. I can only hope that someday peoples eyes will be opened before they see that all the toys they have collected won’t mean anything when the society they are a part of starts crumbling around them from their actions, or they are the next on the list to get screwed and people don’t help them because they been made to be put in a situation where they can’t or in a sense of poetic irony, they are just like they were, and don’t care.

That's true, sorta...Obama got elected.
Know how to govern...?
I see what a great job they've done so far voting in legislation they have no idea what it says or enacts...******* off their own base and ******* away the first majority they've had in many a year...good thing too. It'll be a long time before they get another one, not after people seeing how they acted when they had the Power.
Yeah that's what I'm talking about!!!
Brown is so kool and is a fun guy...as opposed to Croakley the Frog Queen.
Good on ya Mass...

I think New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts have proven the people are tired of the Democrats and they way they govern. It is going to be a sad year for them when a lot of them lose their elections. The people are speaking and the Democrats need to listen. Hell I saw Anthony David Weiner say that same thing a half an hour ago.
