Did you go "woah!" then when you saw those pics? After those Los Angeles Film Festival or her usual pics from galas with dresses and make-ups worth of thousands of dollars, these kind of candid pictures tend automatically to be little bit less flattering. Even though 90% of the pictures we see of celebs are when they are all glamed up or made up for a photoshoot, I still dont consider them 'normal' pics.
This is how she looks, as we all do, when she is just out and about doing errands and stuff.

'Not Flattering' is a phrase usually used when someone is wearing something that does not suit them at all and makes them look really bad. Like if a really fat person wore a very tight t-shirt, that 'isnt flattering'. What she is wearing there dosnt do that.
