I'm sure we do. I also know that prisoners in the UK get free TV, whereas wounded British soldiers returning from the mideast have to pay for the TV.

Yes, there is a difference.
A religious fanatic doing a violent act in the name of religion actually believes that he is doing something good, for which he will be rewarded in the afterlife. Such a fanatic is totally oblivious of the fact that what he is doing might be a crime in his own religion whose name he is exploiting.
A perpetrator of an action with a criminal intent actually knows and is fully aware that his act is a crime and might be punishable by civil and/or religious law.
I found it funny but utterly distasteful.

Creators of Family Guy have made Glen Quagmire a perfect example of cold-hearted, self-centred sex maniac.
British justice is a joke, which was made clear by this case, 2 armed robberies, and attempted murder and the guy gets 8 years. Another example 2 guys killed a man in a happy slapping attack and the most they get is 5 years, the other guy only got 4 years.
I hope Savannah does recover, and i hope that the guy gets raped in prison, then gets his throat cut.
