This also doesn't address that one of the functions of the current stop-light system is so that people with colorblindness can still use it. Without the actual "Stop", "Wait", etc. messaging, this is a disaster waiting to happen.

What about colour blind people? The 3 different positions make a huge difference for them.

This could be an accident waiting to happen if your colour blind so I don't like it. I'd have the luck of being the one hit.

Nah, it will cause more idiot accidents. Idiots will speed up during the final seconds of green and yellow. Other idiots will lay on the gas during the last seconds of red, running into the idiots trying to speed through the last seconds of yellow.
