It's a good list, but too long. Could've stopped after the first one.
Whelp, like I said before.. put a little age on a girl and they're the coolest person ever. One little comment on a teenager or a 20-something and it's an ****** on everything they stand for. Sheesh. My 40-something is ******, so turn down the volume on your arguing. 
Sputnik = 23 and angry.

I think the list is funny, but then im in a relationship with a guy who's hero is Al Bundy lol
It's a joke, whatever truth is in that list is mostly exaggerated to make it funny.
I totally agree, I am a respectable woman but im not easily offended, as we(women) mature we gain self respect and learn to not take those masculine traits personally.

I don't like these lists either, though I admit I'm able to see the humor in them (and there's one of these lists that's "by women, made for men", too.) I mean, I must be a complete freak of a guy, because Sunday does not equal sports for me, I'll ask directions if I need them (Columbus didn't need directions because he was EXPLORING), and if you can't understand or figure out the woman your with after being with her for a long period of time- you're not paying attention, or you just don't care.
Like I said, these lists were no doubt intended to be humorous, and they are. But for anyone who takes them seriously, I feel bad. I mean, one instant the list says "see your girlfriends for sympathy", and a few lines later, it says "quit whining to your girlfriends". With logic like that, no wonder divorce rates are so high.

Ok, I'm starting to regret making this thread, it was a joke, plain and simple, I never said I believed everything in it, and I didn't mean any disrespect to the females on the forum, I have seen plenty of these lists that are about men, and I laugh, I guess it's just because I tend to not take much of anything seriously, and sometimes it causes problems. SG...sorry if it upset you, but it was just in good fun, that's all. Men and Women have been making dumb lists like this for a long time, and while I am sure there a handful of stupid guys that believe all the stuff on those lists, the majority of us just laugh at them for how dumb they are.
I hope sputnikgirl's ban is temporary (which I assume it is) and that she comes back.
Yes, I think she took the list a bit too seriously. Though if she is getting the pm's she typed that she is - I can understand it.
But I thought she was a very good member and this place needs all the level headed female points of view it can get - in my opinion.
What hedonis typed about the list is about what I think. However, I do LOVE football on Saturday's (NCAA) and Sunday's (NFL). Though I would rather spend time with a womean that stimulates me then with the tv any day.
But my only real problem with lists like this is it paint's women as 'them' and men as 'us'.
I don't think of women as them. Or men as us.
To me, if there is a 'them' and 'us' it would be:
People I like are 'us' and people I don't are 'them.'
Frankly, I am more comfortable with women then men - unless the women are very attractive and I do not know them. Then I just get a little intimidated.

Each side is arrogantly proclaiming a claim: to being quite authentic in their definition of femininity, while the ‘other camp’ always is in a possession of a corrupted, flawed, prejudiced, or artificially-concocted, or unsexed version of what is, ‘femininity.’
This is more of a grand display of the ambivalence, which certain women manifest regarding their ‘personal’ and ‘professional roles.’

Wow, for some reason this list turned up some pretty heated opinions and I think we all just need to take it for what it is...a joking/humorous list.

The ideas and speculations that many concerned women propagate regarding gender, are valid. I feel that it is hard for human men to empathize with them, unfortunately.
