Ron Paul 2012

So was Romney. I mean... healthcare, bro!

(Seriously, why has no one started that rumour yet?)

Do it. Leak to Media Matters that you were in the room when he was born in Regina.

Let's discredit every single person running for president. I think people will do a write-in vote of Ronald Reagan's corpse. It'll be fun.

Doesn't feed trolls and would appreciate it if you
One thing I feel is missing from this debate is the limited scope of Presidential powers; as you're all well aware, it's not as if Ron Paul would be come President and his vision for America would simply happen. At best, all he'd be able to do (with a hostile Congress, no doubt) is inhibit new wars, spending, etc...but that former point especially is enough for my vote. I'm not voting for anybody who plays the military industrial complex game 'as usual'.

That's something that I always forget... A lot of people say Ron Paul is going to return America to its roots and bring back freedom, but alongside his election would be a bunch of Republicans who do not share his ideology. The Republicans in Congress won't agree with him on much and I'm willing to bet most of his initiatives would be blocked. He'd likely be a bigger lame duck than Obama.

DICK MORRIS CALLS RON PAUL ‘THE MOST LIBERAL, RADICAL LEFT-WING PERSON TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT’

If you ever get the chance to ask regular Fox commentator (and former Democratic strategist) Dick Morris what he thinks about Ron Paul, make sure you have a camera or a microphone close. That’s because after what he said last night (and in the past) about Paul on “The O’Reilly Factor,” he’s likely to give you quite a quote.

Morris didn’t hold back at all when fill-in host Eric Bolling asked him about the presidential candidate.

After calling Ron Paul’s rise in the polls recently “horrible,” he let loose: “I think that he is absolutely the most liberal, radical left-wing person to run for president in the United States in the last 50 years.”

He then noted all the ways in which Paul is more liberal than Barack Obama, including saying “we caused 9/11“ and wanting to ”dismantle the military.”

“This guy is no conservative. This guy is a ultra, ultra left-wing radical,” he concluded.

You can listen to it all below:

Dick Morris, the "conservative" front lying pig sack of shit - the same guy who worked for Clinton. I wish I could pound my fists into his face until my hands are broke and Morris is doing a crappie flop in a pool of his own blood. What a fuckin' scumbag.

that is where the veto and 10th amendment nullification come into play

So at best Paul and Congress cannot agree on legislation and nothing gets passed. That sounds wonderful.

If Paul ever won the nomination he'd have as much Chance of beating Obama as I would..and if he ran as an Independent he'd also guarantee Obama's second term.

And Jesse Ventura "shocked the world" in Minnesota, one of the best educated states and the state that has the highest voter turnout in the entire country. The only reason Dr. Paul could not/would not win is because the MSM has vilified him as the second coming of Adolf Hitler whilst at the same time pundits like Dick Morris paint him as the most liberal candidate in modern history.

They will call him every name in the book to see him defeated. Never underestimate the power of the MSM. Paul is way off on the left on some things and the entire opposite on others, and still in the middle on others.

You do know that Obama is not a Socialist, right? That's just something that stupid people believe because they refuse to educate themselves on both what Socialism is, and what Obama's administration's policies are.

Sorry if you find that rude, but your comment was entirely unhelpful and uneducated.

:2 cents:

That's such a fucking socialist comment.

anyone who signs a National Defense Authorization Act that allows the US military to arrest and detain US citizens indefinitely without trial and or jury has no business being the president of a free republic
