Ron Paul can win! The only way he loses is the mainstream media and poll riggers selling America that he can't win. Also corrupting the voting process with Diebold machines that can be easily manipulated.

Ron Paul 2012 is about the only hope America has right now.

Being from the UK I don't know much...........about US politics but the fact he was a Republican that opposed the Iraq war is a plus in my book and he seems to be the only one concerned about the many Iraqi civilians killed as a result of this occupation. So he's got my vote...........if I was a Republican..............and a US citizen.

I don't know much about politics either. Aside from the fact that 99% of it is all bullshit and driven by corporate greed. Ron Paul, may in fact be full of shit like all the rest. But at least, to me, he sounds straight forward. He also makes a lot more sense than anyone else I've heard praddle on about some topic or another.

If he runs, he has a good chance of getting the public's support. But a poor chance of winning due to the powers that be, don't wanna see him in office.

If Ron Paul were elected prez it would mean the end of the National Anthem and certainly the national anthem being sung at public events. Is that a good thing? Maybe.

I don't want this country to return to 1776 where women and nonwhites were not recognized as free citizens, so I can't vote for him.

I'm only interested in a president who acts like its 2012 and has the foresight to enact policies that benefit Americans today (we're largely nonfarmers now) and tomorrow. All the fantasy Libertarian ideas would actually be horrible and would lead to a takeover of this country by the Chinese. I suppose we're close to that today, but I'd like to believe we can still say no to corporations. We really could say no to corporations but the Libertarians and the Republicans have convinced everyone that regulation is bad and harmful. Of course it's not. A Libertarian president would allow corporations to not only undermine him but treat Americans literally like cattle. We can't view ourselves as nothing more than cattle. Cattle aren't educated, they're just put out to pasture...

Libertarian philosophy--the free exchange of workers and capital. No taxation.

Free exchange of workers means open, unchecked borders and boatloads of cheap labor arriving from China and India because the corporations will be allowed to hire. FREE EXCHANGE OF LABOR. I suppose just like in 1800, huh, because those Chinese off the boats were the workers who built half of the railroad system which "united" the country.

Fat and dumb America has no real conception of what pure Libertarianism would do to this country today. It would truly destroy this country. We would dissolve into a land mass of RICH STATES -- Alaska, Connecticut, New York, Texas and POOR STATES -- every other state. The Rich States would do dumb things and the Poor states would have no recourse. Take Alaska--perhaps Alaska would decide to double the price of oil? Whose to stop them from doing that?

The Constitution would quickly become even more irrelevant than it is today. That's the real irony.

i feel the same.
i saw the republican presidential debates.
he blew them away.
he knows his stuff better than all of them and he's not full of sheet.
but then FOX news didn't invite him to any more debates.
they basically black balled him.
that showed me that both parties are in bed with each other.
they both knew and i believe wanted a democrat to win.

he can win, but it won't be easy with both the lib and conservative media against him considering how the people just follow the herd, be it dem or repub.

its sad how he was overlooked and an another obvious all talk no action politician won.
people need to wake up and get their heads out of their asses while there's still time,.

Well, whatever Chance he has will be based on what he can do with his Chair now. If he's marginalized and blocked by his own party there, there's not a Chance they'll support a presidential effort.
