Just as I thought not one condemned what Biden said, when it was clearly way out of line and pretty much a racist comment.
It's not a stretch to say that if a republican said that , he would be finished politically.
It's not a stretch to say that most of you here would be calling a republican a racist for saying that.
Is staying loyal to your political party worth selling out what you believe in?
Is not facing the reality that you were/are wrong about Obama so hard to do that you would just ignore such an out of line comment like this, even defend it?

So he's vaguely talking about some banking legislation and he compares it to slavery?
I think it was racist but not for actually saying it but for thinking that black americans are actually so stupid that they would fall for it.

Here is what Romney said in response, I think it was pretty spot on.

“The comments made by the Vice President of the United States are not acceptable in our political discourse and demonstrate yet again that the Obama Campaign will say and do anything to win this election. President Obama should tell the American people whether he agrees with Joe Biden’s comments.”

“Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago,” Romney said.
Romney added, “This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like. President Obama knows better, promised better, and America deserves better.”

He also said that it was " a new low for the Obama campaign".

The Obama campaign, meanwhile, did not back away from Biden’s “chains” remark. Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter defended the vice president during an interview Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,”.
“We have no problem with those comments,” Cutter said.

Well there you have it folks, they have no problem with " He gonna put you all back in chains".

I honestly don't see the racism. I honestly don't see the problem. And I don't think that you guys are as offended as you are opportunistic. "He used y'all and chains in the same sentence! Let's set our hair on fire and jump up and down!"

On Tuesday, the Boston Globe and Associated Press reported on documents showing that GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan had secured more than $20 million in stimulus funds for a local energy efficiency organization.

According to the reports, the documents showed that Ryan also brought in $5.4 million for local bus services. His requests came at the same time he was publicly calling the stimulus a “wasteful spending spree.”

However, in an interview with a local Ohio television news station, Ryan claimed he never secured funding through the program, saying “I never asked for stimulus.”

Your accusations would carry more weight if it wasn't for all those pesky banking scadals that just keep popping their inconvenient heads into the news. No President could have led a recovery under these conditions, Republican or Democrat. But it's the Republicans who keep insisting that banking reform and regulation isn't needed when it's pretty obvious that it's not only needed but crucial. Lack of regulation is what got us into this mess and lack thereof sure as hell isn't getting us out of it.

Reid wasn't necessarily lying. He reported what he was told. And no, I don't want Romney to "shit his pants", I want him to release his tax returns. This is one more case where, if the situation was reversed, you guys would be losing your minds, telling Obama to release his. But, since you hate Obama so much, it's perfectly fine for anyone running against him to get away with this kind of crap.

The economy is recovering, unemployment has gone down. 10% in Oct 2009, 8.1 % in Apr 2012. Point refuted.

Again, check out all the ways the banks are continuing to screw us and let's hear a little indignation for that. The President doesn't act alone, he doesn't control the economy by himself.

At this point, "a dead dog" is your better choice. And that's exactly who you have running. And his smear tactics regarding Medicare have been refuted by every credible source in the country.

Show me a better candidate than Obama and I'll vote for him/her. You haven't.
