In answer to those wondering what happened to her...

what I heard was she suffered from mental illness/depression and ended up escorting in LA for booze and drug money and died of sclerosis of the liver.

The story goes that Roberta Pedon only modeled for a brief time, maybe less than 5 years, but during that span shot enough content to keep magazines publishing her for up to and even after her untimely death. Her last shoot took place in 1976, when she was 22 or 23. Somewhere in there her career took a major hit when she was jailed for prostitution and drugs. The industry turned its back on her, she ended up homeless, addicted and fighting bulimia. She died in 1982, aged 28. I'm getting all this from Boobpedia, which bases its content on Wikipedia, although Roberta's Wikipedia page has been deleted.

You can find Roberta Pedon photos all over the internet, all are scans from old nudie mags and the quality varies greatly. This is true of so many great vintage models, and I find it frustrating. I've started a feature on my site where I'll only post high (or at least pretty good) quality images of classic ladies, and the first girl I've done is Roberta.
