Yes, its called campaigning and he had the media on his side for the most part.
2nd sentence. They are all crooks and have been for a long time. You can't get to where any of them got by being honest.

Basically to get to the top or at least near the top in almost anything but especially politics and religion you have to be a psychopath.
Thats the way it has always been for probably forever.

A nice honest person can only go so far. The ones who got to the top 9 times out of 10 were psychopaths to one degree or another.
