This has happened because circulation is down. Their big brother magazine, FHM, is finishing up soon. This is partly because certain chains of newsagent/supermarket (like Co-Op for one) have stopped stocking lads mags, partly because of feminist backlash, but mostly because the printed word is a dying medium with more and more people getting their fix of stuff to read through the Internet via tablets and smart phones. This is especially true of magazines where the principal selling point is a pair of tits because fewer people than ever will pay £2 for 8 pages of bare knockers when you can open your browser and find similar content or much stronger for free. FHM was in a stronger position than a Front or Loaded to hold out because they had a calibre of lifestyle features and "big name" interviews that they could angle for some of the GQ/Esquire market as well, just usually with a pretty girl on the front, but they're going too.
In terms of a printed magazine with semi-nudity in (as opposed to top shelf), the only one off the top of my head still going over here when FHM dies will be Bizarre, but you have to be into alt girls to appreciate that. I always thought Nuts was superior to Zoo (except when Zoo had exclusivity to Keeley Hazell before she stopped baring the whaps and went to the States because she thought she was a somebody) but there were some decent shoots, especially since Nuts went down the tube. The current (final) issue is good, and last week's Christmas issue had a great shoot with Lucy Vixen and a few cracking pics of Holly (not Hollie) Peers and Sabine Jemeljanova topless around the Christmas tree.
I'm not THAT bothered about the mag going, I didn't buy it very often, but while there are plenty of tits on the Internet, this does mean I now don't know where I'm going to regularly see certain pairs - Rosie, India, Sabine, Holly.
