Respect the girls of porn!

One may think what one wants about porn, but as things happen to be, there is porn in the world, and some of us get off on it. The main ingredients in porn are usually beautiful girls who show us almost every part of their bodies and do all kinds of exciting stuff with them - FOR OUR VIEWING PLEASURE.

Sadly, these gorgeous girls are often referred to in a very demeaning language (in threads at FreeOnes and elsewhere); as "sluts", "whores", "cunts", or what have you (and some people even seem to regard them as mere things to be treated in any manner, who exist only for their sake). But these girls (and every other woman and girl, for that matter) are all human beings with the same human value as any person, and they have the same rights and deserve the same respect as any human being (and perhaps even more respect from us, since they are essential to the pleasure we get from porn). They just happen to make a living on showing their bodies and having sex. That does not reduce them to objects or make them less of subjects! (Even if some of them are spanked, spitted on and even pissed on in videos, that does not mean they deseve to be spanked, spitted and pissed on in real life - videos depict role-playing and appeal to fantasy, real life does not!)

It is bad enough that some people within porn industry encourage and use this language about these girls, but WE, who obviously like them, should treat and talk about them with the respect they deserve!

All of you have mothers, and some of you have sisters or daughters; think about that before you show disrespect towards any girl!

Slut and similar terms are used to characterize personality. Since pronstars are actresses (or at least performers), they naturally act a wide variety of personalities - including sluts. This has nothing to do with them being or not being sluts when they are not on the set. I am sure some of them are sluts and some of them are not. I believe most of the successful pornstars are not sluts, but can very well act one.

Then, there is the term itself. If you are generally offended by someone saying slut to a pornstar I ask myself how do you perceive sluts and how do you perceive pornstars. It makes me doubt that you understand the difference between, let's say Sasha Grey in Fuck Slaves and Sasha Grey doing her groceries. Because in the first case, she totally managed to act like a slut and in the second one I believe she doesn't do that.

In case I would like the idea of sluts, a pornstar acting this way would totally give me the viewing pleasure, therefore calling her a slut would not be demeaning. On the other hand, when I do not like watching women acting like sluts, I could still call her a slut, but in two different ways. The first one would simply be stating a fact while the other one could also be a judgement. In my view, the latter is only possible when a person does not understand the difference between people and actors. I sincerely pitty those people since they must totally shit their pants every time they see Anthony Hopkins.

Common sense is not common.
There are freeks and trash in every level of society, and among artists and performers there are even more extreme personalities to be found; so, while I wouldn't show disrespect to an OSCM, there are probably a few ladies in the biz I wouldn't want to know. Or have over for dinner...

this issue is really interesting to me as of late because i am a porn fan who doesn't respect the porn girls . what this makes me i don't know. but i am sorry i cannot respect anyone who gets paid rather well for opening her legs . this is an act committed by millions daily yet these women get paid to do it because they're hot and will do it. granted i watch and enjoy there exploits but they get no respect from me. the whole working in bad conditions things doesn't affect me because basically all the women have to do is sit there and get moan while letting the male talen have a field day ( granted i know the good ones are much more active than this. so do i like pornstars , yes. do i support them financially....occasionally. but do i respect them? no. however i feel the same way about a lot of voe rated professional athletes, it's just me .......:tongue:

Really? If you feel the same about athletes then I can sort of see your point of view, although I disagree.

As far as pro athletes go, they earn my respect because they have dedicated so much time and practice into honing their skills to such phenomenol levels, even though I am not much of a sports fan.



I have a level of instant respect for any woman in pornography.

Like athletes, these women have honed their bodies in dedication to their art. The true professionals have perfected their moves and actions to great effect. Of course, you just described the majority of Trophy wives, many of the girlfriends of wealthy people, and a good many wives the world over.
Do you feel the same towards them, or are you easily influenced by social propaganda?
